John is the author of the book, Prevent and Turnaround the Troubled Construction Project – A Guide for Owner Developers. He is an accomplished public speaker and regularly delivers industry presentations at industry conventions and conferences including the American Bar Association (ABA) and the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA). His in depth understanding of project feasibility analysis, value engineering, appraisal, budgeting, and project management have led to his selection and experience as a project manager on programs and projects, ranging up to $3 Billion.
As a founding partner, the firm’s Chairman of the Board, as well as the Chief Executive Officer for KMI, John uses his incredible business acumen, analytical thinking, ability to mentor colleagues, and knack for fostering connections in order to focus and guide matters of dispute resolution and troubled project turnaround. John not only understands the role of a consultant, but has first-hand experience as a real estate appraiser, developer, design engineer, owner, design-builder, and contractor thus understanding the challenges and leadership required within every faucet of a project.
