
Emily Popovich brings more than 20 years of global leadership experience in the themed entertainment and attractions industries to her role as Director of Global Business Development at KMI International. Before joining KMI, she served for over 16 years as Global Director of Sales at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), where she drove growth across international markets and managed multi-million-dollar budgets, and also most recently as Chief of Sales and Business Development for L3DFX Design and Fabrication.
Emily is an active industry leader, serving on the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) Eastern North America Board of Directors, as well as a member of the IAAPA Manufacturers and Suppliers (M&S) Committee, and a co-founder of the group Female Leaders of Attractions. She champions initiatives to expand mentorship programs, networking and education opportunities, and ROI for manufacturers and suppliers worldwide.
At KMI, she leverages her extensive network and expertise to forge strategic partnerships and grow the firm’s presence across themed entertainment, hospitality, and related markets.
Based in Washington D.C., Emily is a graduate from the University of Virginia with degrees in English and French Language and Literature. She is passionate about travel, people, running, coaching basketball, and spending fun time with her two daughters, husband, and dog named Disney.
