The February 2026  Report shows overall construction costs remaining stable, with building and construction costs up 0.18% and material costs rising modestly at 0.25%, while common labor remains flat and skilled labor increased 0.15%.  Material volatility continues to be driven by copper (+12%), lumber (+12%), and select wood and steel products, suggesting targeted upward pressure in electrical and wood-based scopes even as broader market conditions stabilize.
